Team Mowbray’s Adventure Sailing Expeditions was founded in 1994 and since that time has provided a platform to allow everyday people a rare opportunity to experience the exhilaration of personal adventure spanning the waters of Antarctica, Cape Horn, The Patagonian fjords and glaciers along with the legendary Great Southern Ocean plus exotic locations like Easter Island, Tahiti, The Cook Islands, New Zealand, Fiji etc.

Adventure Sailing Expeditions two principals are Australian born Jordan Mowbray & his father, Tony. Their approach is down to earth, personalised, and family orientated but with a professional approach to all things they do, no matter whether the trip be for tourism purposes or a commercial engagement such as film making, research etc.

As a natural extension of Tony’s love of all things nautical (and the desire to avoid a proper job) Adventure Sailing Expeditions was born in 1994 when, along with another adventurer they became the first Australians to sail non-stop & unassisted around Australia spending 54 days at sea continuously.

Jordan has followed in his father footsteps carving out a maritime career. He ventured to Antarctica for the 1st time when he was 12 years old and has worked on mega and super yachts around the world before joining Tony full time at Adventure Sailing Expeditions

Today father and son work as a team.

In 2000/01 Tony sailed solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world, spending 181 days alone at sea, becoming just the 6th Australian to do so

He is also one of Australia’s premier international Motivational and Inspirational speakers taking the stage at conferences around the world speaking about his adventures and passing on some of the lessons learnt along the way.
